One hundred and fifty scholarships for nursing studies will be awarded this year after the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Institute for Training and Use of Human Resources, Ifarhu, and the University of Panama, UP.
The scholarships are part of the Ifarhu Educational Economic Assistance program, through which B /. 150 per month to each of the benefited students.
The agreement establishes that Ifarhu will deliver this benefit to the students of the Faculty of Nursing Sciences of the University of Panama, so that they can complete their university studies.
The signing of the agreement was in charge of the general director of Ifarhu, Bernardo Meneses, and the rector of the University of Panama, Eduardo Flores Castro, who highlighted the importance of this career in the development of the country, particularly in times of pandemic that it is lived worldwide.
With the delivery of these scholarships, the government will disburse more than 200 thousand balboas annually, with a view to improving the students of the Faculty of Education Sciences, said the director of Ifarhu, Bernardo Meneses.
