AIG enables registration for vaccination of people aged 12 to 17 years

Since last July 14, the vaccination of people over 12 years of age with the vaccine from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer-BioNTech began in Panama.

The National Authority for Government Innovation (AIG) enabled the vaccination registry that allows parents and guardians to update and register children over 12 years of age with chronic diseases or certified disabilities.

The first step is to enter https://vacunas.panamasolidario.gob.pa/. If the parent or guardian has never registered on the "Vaccination Form", they must enter their data and those of the minor.

In the event that the parent or guardian has completed their vaccination record, they must click on the link indicated in the message. Once you have entered www.panamadigital.gob.pa, vaccination section, you must click on “Update Vaccination Record”.

When completing the data in point number four "Case for a minor", you must click on "Send Form". Once your data is updated, you must wait 24 hours to request the appointment at https://vacunas.panamasolidario.gob.pa/, web appointments section, entering the identity card number and the date of birth of the minor and select Chronic Patients.

Eng. Luis Oliva, Administrator of the AIG highlighted that the planning carried out at the systems level has been progressive, given that to date more than 1.1 million Panamanians have completed the Registry of COVID-19 vaccination applicants. Of this number, around 30,000 Panamanians had registered their minor children since last January.

“We encourage parents to enter the portal https://vacunas.panamasolidario.gob.pa/ even when their children do not suffer from chronic diseases or disabilities, with the aim that they may be registered in the database for when the opening occurs. general vaccination to be able to identify where these minors reside ”, explained the Administrator of the AIG.

The pandemic accelerated the digital transformation of the country and has allowed us to have platforms for a better logistical organization in the process of vaccination, appointment allocation and monitoring, and online vaccination.
