The Save The Children organization made a valuable donation of 200 kits to the Office of the First Lady, to provide support to families that have been affected by natural disasters in recent months.
The kits include thermal blankets, insecticide-impregnated mosquito nets, mechanical LED flashlights, white plastic sheets and 10-meter long ropes with 7 millimeters in diameter. During the delivery, the Vice Minister of the Presidency, Carlos García, who formally received this donation, was also present.
Yazmín Colón de Cortizo, First Lady of the Republic, thanked Save The Children for its hard work on behalf of children worldwide. She added that, for her, the well-being of children is one of her great and longed-for goals, "I am very grateful that they have thought about the children of our country."
