Health authorities meet with UNICEF representative

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health between the Health authorities and the new UNICEF representative in Panama, Ms. Sandie Blanchet and her team. Among the topics discussed, there was a global discussion on health and children.

The Deputy Minister of Health, Ivette Berrío and Thays Noriega, National Director of International Affairs and Technical Cooperation, were present at the meeting.The vision of five years of cooperation was raised, lines of work that have begun in 2021 with the Minsa, in terms of a Mental health, reopening of schools, migrant children in Darien; On October 5, a Forum has been organized to deal with the issues of childhood and adolescence, among other issues.
