Days begin to update the early childhood care route


The consulting company that will be in charge of updating the Comprehensive Early Childhood Care Route (RAIPI) was presented this week to the authorities of the Ministry of Social Development (MIDES) in a first meeting, which was chaired by Minister María Inés Castillo, and in which representatives of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the advisory arm of this entity in matters of children, participated.

 

It is the company Sigil Consulting Group, a consulting firm with 20 years of having been established in the United States and with 10 years of presence in Panama, participating in international development projects in the social field in Latin America through its headquarters also in Dominican Republic and El Salvador.

 

This company will be in charge of updating this route both in the conceptual and operational contents, based on the review of all pertinent information, current legal provisions and consultations with key actors of the institutions related to the subject of the early childhood in Panama.

 

In the virtual meeting, the operational scheme in which this consultant will work was detailed, specifying that they are currently in the preparation and planning of the methodology and that in the next two months they will review the documentation that they manage to obtain to later be agreed through of the consultation with specialists. While in the last quarter of the year work is scheduled to validate and update the RAIPI, which will be the closure of the project itself.

 

All this work will be supported by a documentary analysis, interviews, sessions with focus groups and consensus with the participants.
