Buyers from North America, Europe and the Caribbean will meet at Conexport 2021

The Panamanian Association of Exporters (APEX) together with the ProPanamá Authority and the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI) announced this Wednesday the details of the sixth edition of the National Export Congress (Conexport), which will hold awards and face-to-face conferences on the 18 August, and a virtual business conference from September 14 to 23.

To date, the participation of 15 international buyers has been managed, from the Caribbean islands, Europe, the United States and Canada, reported Eric Dormoi, MICI's national director of Export Promotion.

This 2021, the MICI provides its support in attracting potential international buyers and convening exporters who wish to participate in the business roundtable, an activity that allows national entrepreneurs to offer their products through appointments, expanding their possibilities of negotiation and export, he said.

Roberto Tribaldos, president of APEX, invited exporters to be part of this congress on August 18, at the Sheraton Grand Panama Hotel.

For his part, Eduardo Music, president of the Organizing Committee, mentioned that the Exporter of the Year Gala will be held on this same date with 3 categories, followed by a cultural event in celebration of 50 years of APEX.

Conexport is the most important foreign trade event held in the country, as it brings together the main players in the goods and services producer / exporter sector. During its execution, the attending entrepreneurs will have the possibility of detecting new business opportunities, discovering new products, learning about new market trends and technologies, building customer loyalty, making new contacts and networking.
