Comptroller's Office and the UP sign an educational and technical cooperation agreement and agreement

The Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic signed a Framework Agreement and an Educational and Technical Cooperation Agreement with the University of Panama, to incorporate students from this house of higher studies to the programs of the different directorates of this supervisory entity.

The objective is to promote and develop exchange and cooperation programs for the creation of academic, scientific, technological and cultural management instruments.

In addition, to provide the opportunity to honor roll students to make their choice of degree, professional practice or any other modality of graduation from the career, at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, especially in the disciplines of accounting, economics, finance, engineering. , architecture, law and other related careers, in the Comptroller's Office.

Other topics that the agreement will promote will be: the implementation of Accountability, Citizen Participation and Oversight, Integrity and Transparency, and Prior Evaluation and Reports on this matter.

The Comptroller, Gerardo Solís, stressed that this is a great opportunity and a concrete step to develop the experience and professional, technical and academic improvement, both of the students of the University of Panama and the officials of this supervisory entity.
