The Institutional Directorate for Public Security Affairs (Diasp), in order to improve the attention and processing times of procedures, informs users of the Weapons Management System, which, in response to the great demand for applications for weapons permit procedures , the collaborators of this entity will be attending on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 8:00 a.m. at 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. at 2:00 p.m.
These extended days are strictly for the users who have already entered the respective requests, who will be summoned, previously by means of a telephone call by the personnel authorized to assign the appointment.
Diasp, an institution attached to the Ministry of Public Security, has among its specific objectives to optimize the system, in order to channel as many procedures as possible and respond to the hundreds of users who for many years have had to wait for their documents.
