"We cannot say that there was a failure in the traceability, what corresponds to us is to wait for the Public Ministry to carry out the investigation," said Luis Francisco Sucre, Minister of Health, referring to the case of an alleged clandestine vaccination center located in Coco del Mar, San Francisco township.
Minister Sucre stressed that it will be up to the competent authorities to investigate whether the vaccines came from the Expanded Program of immunization (P.A.I.), whether they have been acquired clandestinely or were false.
"We cannot give information that is not handled clearly and we cannot be in cheap politicking at this time, first accusing when the Public Ministry has not yet said what happened," said the head of public health.
This case is under judicial investigation and the Public Ministry will be in charge of continuing with the investigations that find those responsible for this alleged clandestine vaccination.
