Cabinet authorizes the MEF to present to the Assembly a bill that extends the tax Amnesty

The Cabinet Council, led by President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, authorized, on Monday, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Héctor Alexander, to present before the National Assembly, the bill that extends the tax amnesty, as well as new relief measures with a view to reactivating the national economy.

 

In courtesy of the room granted to the director of the General Directorate of Revenue (DGI), Publio De Gracia, sustained before the Cabinet Council, that as a result of the pandemic that the country is experiencing, it has become impossible for all taxpayers to be welcomed and take advantage of the recently expired Amnesty and Prompt Payment Law.
