Social Cabinet holds meeting on "good practices"


n the Ricardo J Alfaro amphitheater of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a meeting of the Social Cabinet of the National Government was held, led by the Minister of Social Development, María Inés Castillo; the Minister in Charge of Foreign Relations, Dayra Carrizo Castillero; the Minister of Housing and Territorial Planning, Rogelio Paredes; Cristian Munduate, representative of the UN in Panama.

Representing the Ministry of Health, was the Vice Minister Ivette Berrío; Since 2018, the month of July has been declared the month of sustainable development goals, for 2021, it has been called the month of good SDG practices, where it is intended to visualize a more prosperous, fair and inclusive Panama.

Berrio expressed his satisfaction that the National Government through Operation PanavaC-19 has done just that, shorten the economic gap for all Panamanians, since swabs, vaccination and hospital hotels have been available to everyone in the country, regardless of the location of the citizen.

It seeks to recognize the companies, entities or groups that promote sustainable development in Panama, the United Nations representative pointed out that the important thing is to present a balance between society, the government and the State, only in this way can the health crisis and its impact on countries that help reduce the economic gap.
