Government delivers new drinking water supply system to Antón


The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, participated with the community in the inauguration of the project to improve the drinking water supply system of the Antón district, a work built by the National Aqueduct and Sewer Institute (IDAAN) with an investment of B /. 8.3 million, as well as a new power line in the community of Las Marías and orders to proceed for the construction of highways and production roads.

 

Through the new drinking water supply system in Antón, the current flow and pressure is increased, with the incorporation of 10 new underground water sources that reinforce the current production of the liquid for the benefit of more than 16 thousand inhabitants.

 

It has a 250 thousand gallon storage tank located in the northern area of ??the district, which will receive water from underground sources for filling and subsequent distribution through the network. Also, the system includes a modern automated program which you will verify in real time any operational incident that is registered on the network.

 

With the incorporation of these new underground sources into the network, the supply of drinking water to the communities is improved, fulfilling one more promise of the work plan of the president's government.

 

Cortizo Cohen reiterated his willingness to serve the population, particularly those most in need, thus fulfilling the service vocation of public servants.

 

He praised the work carried out by the PanavaC-19 team in the province of Coclé, led by Governor Julio Palacios for the immunization of the population against Covid-19. He indicated that the province of Coclé is prepared for vaccination.
