Ifarhu awards scholarships for English studies abroad to visually impaired students

The opportunity to develop English language studies came to five young people with visual disabilities, who will soon travel to the United States to fulfill their dreams of studying abroad.

The scholarships awarded by the Institute for the Training and Use of Human Resources, Ifarhu, include transportation, accommodation, food and a monthly stipend so that the beneficiaries have the necessary tools to complete their studies.

The awarding of scholarships for the study of the English language, for one year, occurs after meetings between the authorities of Ifarhu, the Ministry of Education, and the National Secretariat for Disability, Senadis.

The classes will be given at Brenau University, located in Atlanta, United States, where the university authorities carried out the required conditioning of the university's infrastructures for the development of this important program signed with Ifarhu.

The announcement of the scholarships was in charge of the Minister of Education, Maruja Gorday de Villalobos; the general director of Ifarhu, Bernardo Meneses; and Senadis Director Donahy Raquel Shoud.
