Inspections seek to protect the health and safety of workers

In order to guarantee the health of workers and keep work spaces free from contagion by Covid -19, the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (MITRADEL) continues with its inspection operations at the national level.

The inspection days were carried out in construction projects located in the districts of Ocú and Los Pozos, in the province of Herrera, where they explained to workers and employers what is related to Executive Decree No. 2 (of February 15, 2008) that regulates Safety, Health and Hygiene in the Construction Industry and what the Labor Code establishes in this matter.

Valentín Rodríguez, regional director of MITRADEL, indicated that inspections are carried out daily in order to protect the safety of workers and raise awareness in the monitoring of biosafety measures due to COVID-19 at work sites.
