121,680 new doses of vaccines against Covid-19 arrive.

Panama received 121,680 new doses of the Covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech on Tuesday, which will be used to reinforce the continuous vaccination program carried out through Operation PanavaC-19 throughout the national territory.

 

This twenty-third batch that arrived at the Tocumen International Airport was received, on behalf of the National Government, by Dr. Mario Lozada, director of the Health Region of the province of Coclé.

 

The vaccination process carried out by the Ministry of Health (Minsa) continues tomorrow, Wednesday, July 14, with the application of the scanning technique to the population aged 16 and over in circuit 6-1 (Chitré, Herrera province) in nine vaccination centers that include the townships of La Arena, Llano Bonito, San Juan Bautista, Monagrillo and Chitré Cabecera).

 

Also starting tomorrow, the vaccine will be applied by sweeping technique to people 16 years of age and older in the 7-2 circuit, which covers the districts of Los Santos, Macaracas and Tonosí, in the province of Los Santos, where 41 will be enabled. vaccination centers for a day that will last for five days.
