More than 2 million Panamanians vaccinated with second doses.

President Cortizo Cohen announced that next week the application of the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19 will begin in the Guna Yala region.


Panama managed to arrive this Saturday at 2,054,024 second doses of the vaccine against Covid-19.


This was announced by the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen through his social networks. “2,054,024 people in our country already have 2 doses of the # COVID19 vaccine. Thank you # PanavaC19 team, volunteers and the entire population for your will and commitment to the homeland, I am proud of you. We keep saving lives! # YaFaltaMenos???? ".

 

President Cortizo Cohen reported that next week the vaccination process will continue in various circuits of the country. Second doses will be applied from the age of 12 in the following provinces: Chiriquí will be vaccinated in circuits 4-2, 4-4 and 4-6; Herrera 6-1 (Chitré) and in Los Santos 7-2 (Los Santos, Macaracas and Tonosí).

 

From the age of 16, second doses will be applied in circuits 8-8 and 8-10 in the province of Panama.

 

                                                           
Cortizo Cohen also announced that, in circuits 10-1 and 10-2, in the Guna Yala region the first dose will be applied from 12 years onwards.
