Minister and Vice Minister of Mop visit various points in the districts of Panama and San Miguelito

The Minister of Public Works (MOP), Rafael Sabonge and the Vice Minister, Librada De Frías made a tour this Wednesday in various points of the districts of Panama and San Miguelito, in order to verify the work that is being carried out in different points of the province of Panama. Among the areas visited are Vía España, Pueblo Nuevo, near the San Fernando Hospital Clinic, where removal and replacement of the asphalt layer were carried out; as well as recovery of gutter cordon and cleaning of drains. There was also a tour of the Rehabilitation project of the Trans-isthmic highway, Section: Plaza Ágora - San Isidro Station, which is currently 89% complete, the minister said. Sabonge said that this project consists of an investment of B / .87 million; in addition to an addendum that implies an additional cost of B /. 8 million based on the relocation of public services and the achievement of easement.

This work has a length of 7 kilometers and its delivery date is next April. Likewise, a tour was made on the main thoroughfare of Calle M, near the Red Bridge, in the Samaria sector, in the San Miguelito district. At this point, the minister verified the reinforcement of the walls of the storm drawer reinforced with steel.

This Thursday it is scheduled to place 20 tons of asphalt, of a total of 60 tons and thus restore the road that was damaged.

The mayor of the San Miguelito district, Héctor Valdés Carrasquilla, and the representative of the Belisario Porras district, César Caballero, participated in this tour.
