International Organizations seek to support the vaccination plan

In a virtual meeting, authorities of the Ministry of Health (MINSA), met with the resident coordinator of the United Nations in Panama Cristian Munduate with the aim of following up on the technical cooperation actions that this international organization will provide in the vaccination plan in the country.

During the meeting, which had the participation of the Vice Minister of Health, Ivette Berrío, an analysis of the areas that could be supported, among which the promotion, communication and technology part stand out.

Thays Noriega, Director of International Affairs and Technical Cooperation reported that the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) has already established conversations with members of UNICEF, the World Bank and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) in order to define strategies for cooperation for the vaccination plan.
