Bedridden patients receive the Pfizer vaccine in El Chorrillo


Ana Lorena Chang, head of Public Health of the Metropolitan Region, indicated that around 40 bedridden patients from the El Chorrillo district will receive the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine this Thursday, these actions are part of the Continuous Strategy of vaccination undertaken by Operation Panvac-19.

Dr. Chang, said that the visits will be made in each building and street with the aim of looking for all adults over 60 years of age to proceed with the immunization; He also explained that people with disabilities have been found, who have been evaluated and coordinated with the El Chorrillo health center to verify the cases and apply the vaccine.

These actions are evaluated by the personnel of the Ministry of Health and the Social Security Fund in each of the townships and in each of the schools that verify the bedridden population on site and proceed to place the dose.

It should be reiterated that this day for the application of the first dose to bedridden patients was developed in the 8-7 circuit, by an entire inter-institutional team that traveled to various points within the El Chorrillo district.
