President Cortizo Cohen announces vaccination of 429,904 people in the first week of August.

The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, announced this Friday that, from the first week of August, 429,209 people will be vaccinated with the sweeping modality in various circuits in the provinces of Bocas del Toro, Coclé, Los Santos, Panama West (La Chorrera) and Panama.

 

During a Community Work Tour in Coclé, the president said that in the 1-1 circuit (Bocas del Toro) there will be a sweep from the age of 12; while in circuit 2-3 (La Pintada, Olá and Natá, in Coclé), people aged 16 and over will be vaccinated.

 

He added that in the 8-5 circuit (La Chorrera) and in the 8-9 circuit, which includes the townships of Panama Norte, the doses will be applied to people over 16 years of age; while in the San Francisco district (circuit 8-8), the second dose will be applied for people over 40 years of age.

 

Finally, President Cortizo Cohen announced that a complete sweep will be carried out on the 7-1 circuit in the province of Los Santos (districts of Las Tablas, Guararé, Pocrí and Pedasí).

 

President Cortizo Cohen today completed a working tour of Coclé that included the delivery of 25 buffalo to the community of Coclesito; the reopening of the Omar Torrijos House Museum, in Coclesito; delivery of benefits to 18 entities of the National Government, among which were orders to proceed to rehabilitate streets in the Penonomé district, among others.
