The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen and the Minister of Public Works, Rafael Sabonge delivered the order to proceed to the contractor company Construcciones y Ventas Gana, S.A. for the sum of B / .830,320.00 to launch the "Machine Hours" program.
The delivery of the order to proceed was made at the C.E.B.G. State of Libya, located in the Rio Abajo district, after a work tour carried out by the president and the minister on the 8-8 circuit.
Sabonge said the total "Machine-Hours" is 9,300 hours. He explained that the rental service includes the operator, fuel, transfer of equipment to the job site and to its place of origin, lubricants. Repairs and maintenance of the equipment ;, as well as the provision of spare parts for the proper functioning of the equipment.
The minister reported that the execution works of the "Machine Hours" program is 365 calendar days from the order to proceed.
The fleet of machinery that will be used will be made up of a tractor, motor grader, backhoe, 12-ton wheel, 20-ton mechanical shovel, three thousand gallon tank truck, dump truck, pipe cleaning machine and equipment transfer.
The program that includes the rental of heavy equipment, with machine-hours work will be carried out with the Regional Metrovial Directorate of the Ministry of Public Works (MOP).
