President delivers government benefits, stallions and improvements to a water treatment plant during GTC in the Chepo district.


During the Community Work Tour through the district of Chepo, province of Panama, the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, delivered the improvements to the Cañita water treatment plant, for B / .2.8 million, for the benefit of more than 4 thousand inhabitants ; 15 stallions and improved pasture for small producers, order to proceed for the rehabilitation of streets and support from programs of various institutions

 

WITH Schools: 37 schools repaired

At the José Del Carmen Echevers Center for General Basic Education (CEBG), in the village of Las Margaritas, President Cortizo Cohen received the CON Escuelas report from the Ministry of Education (Meduca), which highlights that, of the 86 schools included in the program, 37 have already completed minor repair and maintenance work and 31 are being intervened, for the benefit of 11,257 students, with an investment currently of B / .153 thousand.

 

The report adds that, in different school projects in the eastern area, Meduca invests B / .43.8 million. Among these works, according to the National Directorate of Engineering and Architecture (DNIA), is the construction of new structures in the CEBG Vista Hermosa (with 76.4% progress), Altos de Cabuya School (96.2%) and the Francisco Educational Center de Miranda, located in the district of December 24.

 

Water treatment plant improves water production

In Cañita, President Cortizo Cohen delivered improvements to the water treatment plant, a work in charge of the National Aqueduct and Sewer Institute (Idaan) that benefits 4,000 inhabitants of the Chepo district and increases the plant's production from 300,000 to 500 thousand gallons of water per day.

 

The system has a pumping station that will drive the water into two storage tanks of 15 thousand gallons each. It also has a 10,000 gallon tank to distribute water in the community of Polín.

 

These improvements to the Cañita drinking water supply system were executed for an amount of B / .2,830,892.00.

 

Home delivery

The official delegation moved to the La Resbalosa neighborhood, in Tortí, to benefit Mrs. Yesenia Cansari Berrugate and her family with a new house that replaces the wooden house in poor condition with a zinc roof and dirt floors that they used to live in.
