The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, delivered orders on Tuesday to proceed for the rehabilitation of roads and parks in the districts of Los Santos and Pocrí, works that will impact productive areas of the Azuero region.
Cortizo Cohen stressed that, despite the limitations that his administration has faced with an inherited fiscal deficit and the impact of the pandemic, with these works his government fulfills campaign commitments.
In the town of Lajamina, district of Pocrí, President Cortizo Cohen and the Minister of Public Works (MOP), Rafael Sabonge, delivered the order to proceed to the consortium V&G Grupo-Corporativo GS, to carry out the rehabilitation project of 18 streets of that community, which covers an approximate length of 3,484 kilometers, with an investment of B / .1,316,649.91.
This project, which must be completed in a 365-day period, includes the design, construction and renovation of the Lajamina park, Minister Sabonge reported, adding that the works will transform the community's road structure.
