Accompanied by the director of Pandeportes, Héctor Brands; and the coach of the National Soccer Team, Thomas Christiansen, the president toured the playing field, where managers of the company in charge of the work, informed him about the work of transforming the synthetic grass to a hybrid field, similar to those used in the best stadiums in the world.
The president said that Rommel Fernández will have a modern and fast field, similar to that of the best football clubs in the world, with a drainage and irrigation system, and expressed his satisfaction, because it is a work aimed at guaranteeing the best performance of Panama in the qualifying process towards the Qatar 2022 World Cup ”.
He stressed that the stadium requires other adjustments that are being scheduled with the director of Pandeportes, such as lighting, dressing rooms and among other improvements that are required, so that, in addition to having a team in good physical, technical and mental condition, also have with all the infrastructures that our soccer team requires.
