Workers of children's entertainers and clowns make up their union


The Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (MITRADEL), granted legal status to workers of children's entertainment and clowns, which unifies them in a single social organization under the name of Union of Clowns, Infantile Animators and Similar of Panama (SIPAIS).

Alberto Vergara, general secretary of SIPAIS, said that they managed to receive the document that legalizes them as a union, marking a milestone in the history of children's animation in Panama, after five years of initiating negotiations.

The event was attended by the Minister of Labor, Doris Zapata Acevedo and the Minister of Culture, Carlos Aguilar, who praised the work of these artists who contribute to the economic growth of the country and bring joy to many children even in difficult times. , girls and adults.

Among the objectives of SIPAIS is to defend and fight for the interests of its members and the improvement of their working conditions, both in the economic, social and cultural order.
