In the third week of May 2021, a new platform called the Integrated Management System for Territorial Planning (Sigot) could come into operation, which seeks to unify the procedures within the Vice Ministry of Territorial Planning.
The national director of Innovation and Technological Transformation of the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning (Miviot), Dionys Sánchez explained that the main objective of this tool is to channel the entry of different requests into the same platform.
He pointed out that all the directorates that make up the vice ministry will have a tool in which they can share information on everything related to a farm, whether it be land use, zoning, segregations, etc.
Sánchez stated that when a citizen comes to carry out the procedures of a farm in any of the directions, whether it is Control and Orientation of Development, Territorial Research, Territorial Planning, Single Window, Promotion for Private Investment and Horizontal Property, he will be granted a tracking code within the institution.
On the Miviot page www.miviot.gob.pa, online procedure option, Sigot will appear where the user can verify in which process his procedure is within the entity.
With this process, it is sought that both the collaborators of the Vice Ministry and the citizens can follow up on the procedures that have been carried out for a certain farm at the national level within the Miviot.
