Three new companies receive the go-ahead to establish themselves in the East Panama Free Zone


The companies Extreme Cargo, S.A., Natulac Foods, Inc., and Ajepana, S.A. They received the approval of their licenses to establish themselves in the Panapark Free Zone, in the district of December 24 in East Panama.

 

The applicant companies complied with all the requirements established in Law 32 of April 5, 2011, its modifications and its regulations.

 

Ajepana, S.A. is dedicated to the production and distribution of carbonated beverages, nectar, citrus fruits, bottled water, isotonic, beer, tea and other beverages. The initial investment of these Peruvian entrepreneurs is expected to be $ 5,993,336.00.

 

For its part, Extreme Cargo, S.A, of Panamanian capital, offers maritime, land, courier logistics services (for this it has authorization from COTEL and Customs) and air parcel, storage and lashing of merchandise. It is estimated that it will have an investment of $ 69,018.00 in the first stage.

 

While Natulac Foods, Inc., manufacturer and marketer of juices and nectars of Venezuelan origin, will initially invest about $ 13,130,000.00.

 

At the level of job creation, the companies will jointly create some 140 jobs which can be used in a significant percentage by the local workforce, and will invest a total of almost $ 19.2 million, reported Ámbar Ruiz Chaperón, General Director of Zones Free from the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI).
