The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, as part of the strategy against COVID-19, attended on Monday an operation to deliver facial screens in the Paid Zone on May 5, in order to verify and supervise that Comply with Resolution 1428 that regulates the mandatory use of the face shield in public transportation throughout the country.

"In coordination with MiBus, Health Promotion personnel, we supervise compliance with Resolution 1428 issued by the General Directorate of Public Health of MINSA, which makes the use of a mask or face shield mandatory to board public transport," said the minister. Sucre who gave masks to users.

Sucre also reported that the sanctions for non-compliance with this provision will depend on the health centers in coordination with the justices of the peace in the area where the person is found to be in violation of this new rule.
