Fast car is activated in La Chorrera

The Ministry of Health (MINSA) and Operation PanavaC-19, continuing with its vaccination strategy, inaugurated on Monday the rapid vaccination car against COVID-19 which is located on the grounds of the La Chorrera Fair in the province of Panama West.

  For his part, Kevin Cedeño, director of the Health region of the province of Panama Oeste, indicated that “the opening of this vaccination center is very important, which aims to apply a thousand vaccines per day from the pharmaceutical AstraZeneca so that in 15 days to be able to immunize about 15 thousand people.

  "At the moment we have 15 thousand doses, however, there are people and businessmen who are repeat offenders in not complying with biosafety measures, so we are going to be vigilant and we are not going to allow it," said Cedeño.

  The Ministry of Health informs the population that in the fast cars authorized by the National Government, men over 30 years of age and women over 50 are being voluntarily vaccinated with AstraZeneca, all with prior appointment and schedule established by the platform established by the AIG for vaccines.
